You guys have been really helpful in the past so I thought I would ask. Recently I was hired for a job were they were lax about personal style, one haircut and "black" hair dye later I ended up with an a-line cut with black roots and tips that fade to midnight blue. Three weeks after my orientation my boss gave me the run around and is no longer answering his phone when I call him... which means I have a disadvantage while looking for another job.

I plan to dye my hair black again but until I can scrounge up the money where can I apply at with unnatural colored hair? Hot Topic and Torrid are my first two guesses but after that I run out of ideas. I live in West LA, willing to work from Century City to Venice. I am also willing to work around the Miracle Mile. I'm looking for part time work while I take morning/early afternoon classes.

Thanks for your help guys.

Tea Houses you would recommend?

I've been trying to find tea houses via web searches and most place don't have reviews. What's your favorite place to have tea? I'm looking for a place with good variety in teas and moderate meals (not light eating) under $20. The style of the tea house (Asian, British, whatever) doesn't matter but a little note on the ambiance would be nice. I'd rather go to the frilly establishments with my friends, not my boyfriend. Locations in the Westside and Hollywood are preferred but I don't mind hopping on the bus every so often. Thanks in advance :)

Writer's Block: Six-Word Story

Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” He is believed to have called it his greatest literary work ever. Can you write a story in six words?

I am a vagina. Nothing more.

LOL that was actually the first thing that came to mind and it is exactly six words.

Remy says: Hey, only you can prevent forest fires.

Yes this is public *gasp*

I want to move in with him.

Of course I am hesitant to do so while I can't stand on my own two feet. Until I am financially stable I wont want to move in with anyone so it probably wont happen...If it were possible I'd go for it.

I've started talking about the future...it still scares me. Not too long ago I told him I wanted to come home to him every night. He was taken by surprise and kind of poked fun at me for being so noncommittal. I can't help it, the feeling continues to persist.

My family went out of town last Wednesday and returned on Monday. Remy stayed with me at my mom's house. For a short time my house felt more like a home and less like some space I spend my time in. We watched movies, went grocery shopping together, made a ruckus while in the throws of passion...and *gasp* drank together. It was nice to pretend...and made me realize that I can put myself there again. Imagine not being able to close your eyes because you couldn't wait to see that same person in the morning. I wish I could make it a reality. Just not until I can do my part.
My hair is almost down to my butt right now but it's starting to get uncomfortable. As in really hurting my scalp when I put it up at work type uncomfortable I want to keep the length while still be creative with my hair....I want a modified mohawk. I'll be keeping the middle as long as it is now with the sides shaved. Only one problem, I don't have a reference photo to take to the hair stylist. Sounds simple enough but we've all had or heard of a hair stylists that decided to force their own "vision" on your hair.
